April 2024 Update

April 22

Right now, two large batches of hospital medicine are in the process of sorting and packaging. During the holidays, we received a request from our volunteers for specific medical supplies and painkillers. In Ukraine, they've started producing their own high-quality turnstiles, and it's also possible to obtain medical kits. The rest of the wishlist was compiled with volunteers from Odessa and Kharkiv.

As usual, we gather, pack, and send these supplies to trusted organizations for swift distribution to the needed areas. Photo updates will be provided as available. Thank you very much, everyone.

Yesterday, Julia Orlova and I made a trip to Medshare warehouse in New Jersey, where we picked up 260 lbs of medical supplies destined for shipment to Ukraine in the near future. The vehicle was loaded up to the roof with these essential supplies.

Regrettably, this will be our final visit to Medshare's warehouse in New Jersey, as they are closing their operations there. If you are aware of any similar facilities in New England, we would greatly appreciate your recommendations.

This week has been incredibly busy for us. Last Sunday, we found ourselves packing boxes until 1 am. The next morning, we were up and out of the house by 7:30 to ensure that the shipment would be on time, with Meest scheduled to pick it up at 9:30 am in Boston. Due to the size of this shipment - the largest we've ever sent - we had to use two vehicles.

8 big boxes 425 lbs to Odessa, 6 boxes 231 lbs to Kharkiv, 1 box 39 lbs to Lviv, 1 box 35 lbs to Kharkiv for children’s volunteers. Total 16 boxes, 730 lbs, $2076.39

On Tuesday, Alex picked up additional supplies from Irina Kalaida.

Today, I went to New Hampshire and loaded the Suburban to the roof with even more medical supplies for the hospitals. Thank you, Doctor Bronfine.
